Nurse Supervisor - Inpatient Rehabilitation Center

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is the leading community based health care system located in south central North Carolina. Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Center is a 25 bed unit, with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to maximizing the functional independence of patients recovering from chronic and/or acute illness. The type of patients who we serve include patients recovering from sudden traumatic and/or non-traumatic events, including stroke, progressive neurological disorder, brain/spinal cord injury, amputation, surgery, debility, etc. We plan for a licensed nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-1:6.
Position requires current North Carolina RN license. Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a BSN or enrolls in as approved RN to BSN program within six months of hire, MSN preferred. At least one year in a leadership role or previous experience as a supervisor. BLS must be current or obtained within 30 days of hire, ACLS preferred. CRRN- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, current or will take exam within six months of meeting eligibility requirements.
Planned hours are 2:45-11:15pm with 12 hour weekend shifts every other weekend. Hours may vary to meet unit need.
