Virginia Commonwealth University Health System's Rehabilitation and Research Center (RRC) is one of the top 25 Rehab programs for complex care according to 2008 US News and World Report. We provide dynamic interdisciplinary inpatient rehabilitative care to adolescent, adult and geriatric individuals with multiple and complex needs. The RRC is a 41-bed inpatient program located on the first and second floors of the North Hospital of VCU Health System. Key rehabilitation diagnoses of patients on N1 are: cerebral vascular accident; spinal cord injury, amputation, multiple trauma, hip fracture, burn, cardiopulmonary disorder, arthritis and other disabling conditions. On N2, the major rehabilitation diagnoses of patients are traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury. 

Position requires a BSN and Masters degree in Nursing or related field with 2 years progressive leadership experience. 5 years clinical experience and previous Rehab experience highly preferred. Experience in an academic medical center, specialty practice certification and/or nursing administration also preferred. Candidates should have excellent leadership and management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
