Located in Lawrenceville, GA, 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta, Gwinnett Medical Center is setting a new standard of excellence in healthcare. GMC has experienced tremendous growth bringing us to 500+ beds, four facilities comprised of three hospitals, including the new all-digital Gwinnett Medical Center-Duluth, which opened in October 2006, and several specialty facilities. We are also slated to open a 155-bed tower the summer of 2009. GMC is proud to be the premier healthcare provider for the northeast Atlanta community. We are currently seeking Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and an RN Shift Supervisor for our Glancy Rehab Center in Duluth, GA.
Glancy Rehab Center is a 30-bed, CARF accredited program that offers treatment for a variety of diagnoses, including neurologic and orthopedic impairments, such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, Guillian Barre Syndrome, multiple trauma, hip fracture and joint replacement. More than 90% of our patients return home to their community after discharge.
Shift(s): FT & PRN; Weekdays Days/Eves & Occasional Weekends
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current State of Georgia Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS
- Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg/Rehab experience preferred
- Current State of Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure (LPNs Only)
- Prior experience as a Charge Nurse or Supervisor preferred (RN Shift Supervisors Only)
