University Specialty Hospital has earned an outstanding reputation for designing and implementing one of Maryland's leading Brain Injury Rehabilitation Programs. Since 1995, our program has provided behavioral management and modification for patients with behavior or cognitive issues following a brain injury.
The 20-Bed CARF-accredited Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Unit offers individualized care aimed to improve patients' quality of life. A coordinated team effort is made to provide the latest therapies and interventions to prepare patients and families for their next step.
We are looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager to join the team of healthcare professionals on the TBI Unit. In this role, they will provide leadership with a strong focus on patient centered care, interdisciplinary relationships, customer service, performance improvement and program development. A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years prior experience in nursing management is preferred with demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel. Current licensure by the state of Maryland as a registered nurse is required.
