Plan to attend ARN’s Leadership Course at REACH 2019
Every year, ARN takes the opportunity to offer a live one- or two-day intense educational program, prior to the annual meeting. In 2019, ARN brings you a Leadership Course to help propel your nursing career to the next level.
Rehabilitation Nurses Flocked to West Palm Beach, Florida for REACH 2018
ARN REACH 2018 was held in beautiful and balmy West Palm Beach, FL, October 17-20. Rehabilitation nurses from near and far throughout the U.S. came to network with colleagues, attend premier educational sessions to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance their careers, and meet with preferred exhibitors to learn about the latest and greatest products to make day-to-day rehab nursing experiences easier.
ARN staff currently is working with the 2019 Conference Planning Committee to bring you the best educational conference and expo for rehabilitation nurses in 2019.
ARN Offered Live IMPACT Course in 2018
First, in Tampa, February 16-17, and then again in Chicago, July 20-21, ARN hosted two live IMPACT Courses to help nurses improve patient outcomes. Course instructors, Kathy Clark, MSN RN CRRN, and Jill Rye, DNP RN CRRN CNL, led both sessions to prepare post-acute care (PAC) facilities for public quality reporting. The course helped teams Move Beyond Scoring to Improve Patient Outcomes.
Attendees were made up of Nurses, Nurse Managers, Patient Care Technicians, PPS and MDS Coordinators, Nurse Educators, Quality Compliance Officers, Supervisors, Clinical Educators, and Directors. Feedback supported a very interactive day-and-a-half, offering 10.25 Contact Hours, which provided the best ideas and recommendations for attendees to bring back to management, surrounding evidence-based interventions to make the biggest quality improvements across the PAC continuum, how to work with team members to meet the requirements of the IMPACT Act while enhancing patient care, and clinical content on skin assessment, cognitive patterns, functional self-care, mobility, and bowel and bladder quality indicators.
