A Message from the ARN President for Nurses Week 2025

This Nurses Week, the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) Board of Directors President, Maureen Musto, MS RN APRN-CNS ACNS-BC CRRN FARN, shares her gratitude with a special message honoring your impact and contributions. Whether you're helping a patient regain independence, advocating for families, or supporting your team through challenging moments, your role is nothing short of transformative.

Dear ARN Members, CRRN®, and all Rehabilitation Nurses,

As we enter National Nurses Week (May 6-12) and celebrate Nurses Month, I want to take a moment to personally recognize the extraordinary strength, compassion, and commitment that each of you brings to our profession. This year, the American Nurses Association (ANA) is shining a light on The Power of Nurses™, and there is no better example of that power than our ARN members and all dedicated rehabilitation nurses.

Rehabilitation nurses are at the heart of recovery and healing. You walk alongside patients and families during some of their most vulnerable moments, helping them regain independence, rebuild lives, and restore hope. Your impact goes far beyond clinical expertise - your advocacy, education, and emotional support change lives every day.

During this special month, I encourage you to reflect on your journey, share your story, and celebrate your colleagues. Whether you take time to thank a fellow nurse, post about your experience, or simply pause to acknowledge the difference you make, and you are living proof of The Power of Nurses™.

To support your professional growth and celebrate your incredible contributions, ARN is offering two special promotions through May 31:

We also invite you to read and share our Superpower Series, which highlights eight remarkable ARN members whose unique strengths and stories exemplify the spirit of rehab nursing.
