RNJ Readership Survey Results

ARN recently sent out a one-question survey asking readers (and non-readers) what topics they would like to see more of in the Rehabilitation Nursing Journal (RNJ). See the topics, below, and consider submitting articles to the RNJ!

Write about your expertise and experience

Interested in submitting an article to the the RNJ? We are always looking for more submissions, including, evidence-based practice papers, professional issues, and clinical consultation papers. Additionally, the RNJ editorial board is opening up submissions to hear more about your personal experiences and stories as a rehabilitation nurse.

Did you know:
The RNJ manuscript peer-review turnaround time for a first decision is just 15 days!

The readers (and non-readers) have spoken

The readers (and non-readers) have spoken and want to see more articles about the following:

  • Spinal cord injury
  • TBI
  • Stroke
  • Neuromuscular disorders
  • Ventilator care for acute and post-acute settings
  • Case studies
  • Pain management and opioids
  • Cancer
  • Wound care
  • Polypharmacy in geriatric patients
  • Caring for patients in the post-acute rehab setting
  • Legal topics
  • Staffing challenges
  • Pediatric rehab

Are you interested in submitting information about one of the above topics but don't know where to begin? The RNJ editorial staff are willing to work with novice writers and walk though the writing process with you - just simply ask! The most important thing is that you share your knowledge with other nurses.

A new RNJ is on the way

Coming this July/August issue, see the newly updated look of the RNJ. For the first time in many years, ARN is updating the RNJ logo, covers, and more. Look for the fun new journals in your mailbox as well as at the ARN Rehabilitation Nursing Conference
