Research Grant Opportunities

The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) Advancing Science and Practice Subcommittee oversees the grant development, review, and selection process. Grant opportunities are made available from the generous donations of monetary gifts donated to the Rehabilitation Nursing Foundation (RNF) from members and non-members who value the mission of the RNF, which is advancing rehabilitation nursing practice by promoting and developing educational activities and scientific research to improve the quality of health care to individuals.

Collaborative Research Grant Applications

ARN welcomes you to explore the two collaborative grants of up to $10,000 in funding, now open through June 10, 2025.

Advance the Science and Practice of Neuroscience Rehabilitation Nursing

Agnes MarshallThe Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) Advancing Science and Practice Subcommittee, in collaboration with the Agnes Marshall Walker Foundation (AMWF), invites applications for grant support to fund research studies in neuroscience rehabilitation nursing. This opportunity, supported by AMWF and the Research Nurse Foundation of ARN, seeks proposals that explore clinical practice, education, certification, or administrative aspects of neuroscience and rehabilitation nursing.

Funded research should contribute to the broader field of neuroscience and rehabilitation nursing, with the potential to secure future extramural funding. While preference is given to research studies, grants may also support quality improvement initiatives, program evaluations, or performance improvement projects.
