2024 Elections are Now Open

 Cast your vote for the 2024 slate to approve the Board of Directors and Nominating and Leadership Development Committee! 

On June 8, you should have received a ballot via email with the subject line "Your ARN 2024 Board Elections Ballot." This email contains your link to complete a ballot for the 2024 ARN election. If you do not see that email, please check your spam folder, and feel free to reach out to .

As a voting member of ARN, you have the opportunity to vote on the slate that represents the incoming leadership of ARN. Learn more about this year's candidates and vote by July 15, 2023, to make your voice be heard. 

Meet the Candidates 

Maureen Musto is a Clinical Nurse Specialist who has practiced as a bedside and advance practice nurse for over 25 years at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital, where she has devoted her career to the advance of rehabilitation nursing. She is an evidence-based practice (EBP) mentor who develops, guides, and encourages staff nurses to become active critical thinkers and to incorporate evidence-based practice into their daily care to improve patient outcomes. Sylvia Duraski is a nurse practitioner for Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital part of Northwestern Medicine. She is responsible for medical management, history taking, physical examination, ordering treatment, and education of inpatient and outpatient neurologically impaired individuals. She is a certified rehabilitation registered nurse through the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and certified brain injury specialist through the Brain Injury Association of America and most recently a Certified Stroke Registered Nurse through the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing.  Read More

She started her career as a new graduate nurse in Acute Rehabilitation 10 years ago.
