Rapid response team activation triggers in adults and children: An integrative review
An integrative review on Rapid Response Teams (RRT) provides data on the triggers of an RRT in both children and adults. Twenty-five articles were found to substantiate the data. Tachypnea, decreased oxygen saturation, tachycardia, changes in blood pressure and level of consciousness were the most common triggers in both populations. However, each group did have other specific triggers for that population. In addition, the article looked at the outcomes of an RRT call.

The lived experience of serious stroke survival: A hermeneutic phenomenological case study
The impact of a serious stroke on an individual cannot be denied. These authors present a case study of one of the author's stroke survival and the impact that it has had on every aspect of her life. Through numerous visits and interviews with the stroke survivor, an inside look at the lived experience of the survivor is documented. Four existential themes – spatiality, temporality, corporeality and relationality – provided the framework for the case study.
