Rehabilitation Nursing Foundation Grant

ARN and RNF hold a special call for grants every two years. The next call will begin in late 2019 for the 2020 period.

2018 Grant: Early Mobilization or Alarm Fatigue

In 2018, RNF collected proposals for research studies that focus on Early Mobilization or Alarm Fatigue. Both topics address important problems that may be experienced by populations with functional impairments, limitations, and disabilities. In addition to the impact on functional outcomes and quality of life of these populations, healthcare providers, caregivers, and family members may also directly or indirectly be affected by these issues. The overall purpose of this research is to investigate health concerns that are amenable to rehabilitation nursing care and provide evidence for practice. Congratulations to Rozina Bhimani, recipient of the 2018 grant!
